Amelia Baker has been working as a recording artist and producer for her project, Cinder Well, for over a decade. While Cinder Well has been described as "folk music with a widescreen vision and a gothic flourish" (KLOF Mag), Amelia now works to extend this cinematic approach further by scoring music to picture. As a multi-instrumentalist and string player, Baker's original compositions bring a rich atmosphere with heightened emotional depth.
Recent work includes composing an original theme song for a newly released podcast by Ranged Touch and an original track, ‘Síle,’ for Berlin black metal band, Arde.
Recent sync includes placement of her song 'Brittle Bones' in the short film "From Way Up Here", directed by Celeste Chaney.
Amelia is currently working on the Canadian documentary series "Into the Fray" alongside composer Zachary Greer and is available for composing work for film and TV.
