Amelia Baker is a composer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Los Angeles.
Drawing on over a decade of creating original sound worlds for Cinder Well recordings and performances, composing for film and TV is a natural evolution of her visceral and cinematic approach to songwriting. Amelia’s scoring work heightens emotional depth while retaining intimacy and rawness, resonating with themes of loss, hopefulness, longing, otherworldliness and liminal space.
Amelia’s most recent work includes the original theme song and score for BBC’s ‘Small Prophets’, directed by Mackenzie Crook (Detectorists, Worzel Gummidge).
Amelia contributed string arrangements to Zachary Greer’s score for ‘What We Dreamed of Then’, which premiered at the Atlantic International Film Festival in 2025.
